Privacy Policy

This is a draft policy, published for transparency while PrimeEx is in development. It has not been finalized or reviewed by legal counsel, and it will be replaced before PrimeEx is made available to the public.

1. Who we are

PrimeEx ("we", "us", "PrimeEx") is a financial technology product currently in development. This policy describes, in general terms, the kinds of information PrimeEx collects and why, it does not describe a finished, launched service.

2. Information we collect

To open and verify an account, PrimeEx collects information including your name, contact details, Bank Verification Number (BVN), a government-issued identity document, and a liveness (selfie) capture, consistent with standard identity-verification practice for financial services in Nigeria. We also collect information about the transactions you make, and technical information (such as device and log data) needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use information

We use this information to verify your identity, provide the service, detect and prevent fraud, comply with applicable law, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us operate PrimeEx (for example, identity verification and payment processing), and with regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not have named partners or providers to disclose publicly at this stage of development.

5. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. See our Security page for the technical measures currently in place. Retention periods and a full data-subject-rights process will be finalized ahead of public launch.

6. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Contact us at the address below, a formal process for exercising these rights will be published before public launch.
