General
- Not yet. PrimeEx is currently in active development. The core product, accounts, wallets, transfers, identity verification, is built and tested end-to-end in a sandbox environment, but it hasn't been launched publicly and isn't handling real customer funds yet.
- PrimeEx is being built Nigeria-first. Support for other countries isn’t established yet.
- There's no date yet. Team access, bulk payouts, and reconciliation exports are on the roadmap, but none of it is built, a Business account today would have nothing more to offer than a Personal one. Tell us what you need on the Business page and we'll keep you posted.
- One active virtual card per account today. You can freeze, fund, and terminate it, support for holding more than one card at a time isn't built yet.
Account & Verification
- PrimeEx verifies identity using your BVN, a government-issued document, and a liveness (selfie) check. Verification is required before you can send or receive money.
Payments
- Only one transfer is ever created. Every financial request carries an idempotency key, enforced at the database level, a duplicate submission returns the original transfer rather than creating a second one.
- Yes. Every transfer confirmation shows the amount, fee, and total before you commit, never after.
- Only one conversion ever happens. Retrying the same request returns the original conversion rather than creating a second one, and the same quote can't be converted twice under a different request, the same idempotency protection every transfer on PrimeEx uses.
Security
- Every balance change goes through a double-entry ledger with no direct balance edits, sessions use short-lived tokens with automatic rotation, and every request is checked against your own account, never another user’s. See the Security page for more detail.

- Full pricing is being finalized ahead of public launch. See the Pricing page for what’s confirmed so far.
